This is the second year where GHO names were used. The strongest storm there was Hurricane Betrude (Gina). The retired names were Aka, Betrude, and Elene. They were replaced by Aiá, Bela, and Ele. The strongest storm for NAMO were both Hurricane Gina (Betrude) and Hurricane Floiu (pronounced flo-EEU). Hurricane Floiu was the strongest storm to ever hit Spain. The retired names were Ellen, Floiu, Gina, and Nuller. They were replaced by Ellena, Fredrick, Gia, and Noy.
