Description

This is sort of a dedication to the brave women who fought for the Red Army and risked their lives during the Battle of Stalingrad of WWII. Women served as trench-diggers, machine gunners, infantry, artillery crew, scouts and snipers during the battle, helping to turn the tide against the German armies. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now for the OC information. Names: (Left to right) Lida Fedorov, Mila Petrov, Natalia Semenov Sexualities: Straight Ages: 20, 21, 23 Backstory: Lida, Mila and Natalia were friends since they met when they were young, and they all had a deep regard for one another. Lida and Mila were adventuring, fierce and fun-loving, while Natalia was more of the girly-girl of the trio, very shy and quiet. They were best friends, until the October Revolution, where Lenin and the Red Army overthrew the Czar, whom the three friends supported. They fell out of touch afterwards, with each one going about their lives, getting new homes and raising their families. However, when the Germans invaded Russia, the new leader Stalin conscripted men and women in their twenties, including Lida, Mila and Natalia, who incidentally were all placed in the same battalion. Mila was a machine gunner, Lida a sniper, and Natalia in an artillery crew. They worked together under Stalin to brave the Germans and push them out of Stalingrad. They were some of the first Soviets to enter Berlin at the end of the war, where afterwards they again fell out of touch. Lida stayed in the Red Army until she retired, while Mila and Natalia resigned and raised their families. They met again a while later, after which Mila passed away, and so did Lida and Natalia nearly a few months after that. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Song is, "Winter Tundra." Composer unknown. Thanks to @Mythi_owo for OC base and eyes.
