*ONLY WORKS WHEN DOWNLOADED* *MADE COMPLETELY ON SCRATCH PAINT* *except for: DarthPickley imported the alien sprite and modified it in scratch paint. and he also used a program to generate the texture of the enlargened "widget/box corner". And, obviously, I am guessing the background was NOT made on scratch paint, but was taken by Hubble, but it came with the original project as a background* original notes: " READ THIS Well, here is a demo for my first game ever on Scratch, "Mining the Moon". Sorry that it took so long for just for the demo and physics, I had the flu for 6 days and could not create a project (I was really lazy). If you were expecting the real game today, sorry there's twenty-five levels and I only got to finish twelve of them. So, try not to comment rudely because I only got to work on this, umm...about one hour. The story, NASA found a special alloy that may help them improve their satellites in space due to it's extremly light, yet hard properties, though on their mission, the lose control of their little mining rover and try to gain control (yet fail) so, they become impatient a leave. Then YOU figure out how to control it (you have tellypathy! Right?) and start controlling it! However aliens dominate the section of the moon you are on so be extremly careful! The controls, -To move, all you have to really do is, rapidly tap the left arrow and right arrow. -The "widget Bo/corner", there is a small seperated area only for widgets (hence the name "widget Box/corner). -The average speed widget, in the widget box/corner, off to the right is a small lever. Simply drag the lever up with the mouse to create a higher speed, and down for a lower speed. -The speed gauge, there is an electronic gauge in the middle where your speed is tracked. -The direction of the cart, on the left-hand corner of the widget box/corner there is an arrow, just click it to switch your direction -Jumping, just tap the up arrow. In the real game, there will be -Scrolling. -FAR better graphics. -more realistic movement. -more widgets. -twenty-five levels. -some suggestions from other Scratchers! CREDITS -m44, for the music -itsEMILagain, for the awesome sprite. UPDATES -update one, slightly changed the color of the background, to be able to see the wheels. -Made you not able to drag the lever off the rod. " Now, I have added 2-directional platform/glide scrolling, changed the background to something it already came with, enlargened the widget/box corner so that you can add more widget things, like using the drill for stuff, changed a few scripts, added alloy, made it so that the costumes of the rover were animated, changed a few sprite names, created an alien. oh, and I also made a shortcut for changing the direction, space bar. NOTE: use the a and d keys to rotate the drill. I hope you like it, Buddha108 (Of course you will!)
