Chapter 4- Flicker sat down on the grass and buried her head in her paws. "Why ARE the Contests so important?" Flicker scoffed and continued mumbling to herself "She's dead... I should stop pretending she's out there." Flicker stared at her paws and thought about what happened. She should've not even mentioned her. She shouldn't have ran away. And she shouldn't have cried. She dug through her memories and thought about it. "Purrismas is coming up, Flick! Aren't you excited?" "Not really... Dad's not gonna be here again this year." "... Well, at least we have each other." "Yeah! It's gonna be the best Purrismas ever!" *laughs* "I love you Flick." "Me too, sis." Flicker looked up to see Catniss next to her. "Hi, Catniss." "Sigourney again?" Catniss said and leaned her head back. "Yeah... What if she is really dead?" Flicker choked out, a lump in her throat. "Come on, Flicker! Don't give up. She's alive and we both know it." Flicker looked down and picked up a flower. "Besides, that's not what I wanted to say." Flicker's ears perked up. "Another wolf joined the guild. Her name's Colony." ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Link walked towards his den, and saw another wolf beside him. He looked at it and it looked at him. Link saw a familiar scar over one of it's eyes and black fur over the other one. He ran and looked over his shoulder. Behind him, he could see the wolf smile and unsheathe it's claws. It was her. Colony had found him. --- Link howled with pain as Colony ran her claws up his back. Colony stepped back and started to glow. Shadows spread across Colony and a cyber visor spread across Link's eyes and he leaped at her, pinning her down. She smiled and hit him on his nose, just like before he joined the guild. He stepped back and covered it with his paw. Colony smiled and said, "I don't need you. You're just paying for letting the cat go." and ran away.
