Instructions

An explanation of Buvvo and his empire. However, it's more about the empire and less about the emperor. Buvvo's origins aren't very important, it's his goal that is. He wants domination over everything- in other words, he hungers for power, particularly that of gods. So how does he try to do it? Simple, robots. Lots of them. Acquisition of power can be through advances in weaponry, harvesting the essence of powerful beings, or anything else that just makes you and your forces more powerful. To get that, Buvvo conquers places, which can range from small chunks of land, to planets, and even to different dimensions. Even with the power of essences at hand, Buvvo can't manage all of this. So, why use robots? Well, what's wrong with getting assistance from other godlike beings? They have free will, a choice. Robots don't (or at least most of the time, traitors are exterminated). An army of perfectly obedient, powerful robots is an easy way to grab some land, and in the process, resources. For building more robots. Then came the problem of actually making those additional robots. An army of this scale will need something to ceaselessly build robots with a seemingly endless pool of resources. Another robot to do this seemed like a simple solution, but that wouldn't be enough. A single vessel would be terribly inefficient, so Buvvo put on a thinking cap. It was at that moment that he thought of creating the Assembler, a program that runs over countless hive minded vessels, assembling new robots without end. At least until there were no more resources. That was another problem. While conquering would be easy with a massive army of robots, what would be done with the new land? Buvvo needed the robots to keep building his grand empire. But all of those resources... they had to be harvested. And these robots... they could only fight. They weren't built to harvest. So he had another bright idea. There were not just strong, valuable metals. There were not just large pools of oil waiting to be placed in a fuel tank. There were still those who were conquered, whose civilizations had been reduced to ruins. And Buvvo wasn't just going to throw them out. These conquered people were perfectly capable of mining, farming, and doing anything else Buvvo would ever want. But would they be willing? No. But they were defenseless. They couldn't fight him. Another idea came to Buvvo. "Leave some robots behind, to make your subjects harvest all of these valuables. They won't have a choice, much like your military robots." So he left some combat robots to enforce his reign upon the survivors occupying various conquered territories. ...and it worked. Metal? Fuel? Riches? He had it all, coming through wormholes created with essence-powered technology. So the cycle of conquering kept going. More robots were built, more land was conquered, more resources were gathered, all without end. But this cycle was causing great concern towards other remaining empires, and these worries grow with Buvvo's territory. As the reach of this grand empire grows, more and more civilizations are imprisoned, the members scattered across what seems to be an endless number of robot-infested cities. The situation seems hopeless, but Buvvo, even with powerful armies capable of decimating even the strongest of empires- even the Errors struggle to win against his forces. But it's not composed of robots, or even an army. It is the remains of a god. One he had defeated. Or so he had thought. Such power could be used to halt his forces, if he doesn't get his hands on it first.
