A lower number for Speed and "Slow" makes the game faster. The fastest speed possible you will achieve by setting "Slow" and Speed to 0. Turbo mode has it's effect aswell ofc. Press the Start button to make the simulation begin. You can also toggle the names off, with the specific button, if you you find them too annoying.
It may be true, that I started this 3 years ago, but I admit, that I took a 1, 5 years long break in between. Now it's finally finished.
