Copied and pasted from AutoEvolution Launched in 2008, this facelift of the RX-8 benefits from increased rigidity, new suspension geometry and some additional exterior changes, which include the front fascia, fenders and tail lights. While incorporating the same 1.3L Renesis rotary engine, this version has slightly higher outputs, namely 212 HP and 232 HP. The first version is fitted with an automatic, 6-speed transmission, while the latter incorporates a manual, 6-speed solution. The rear-wheel drive system is completed by the all-round ventilated disc brakes.
