He is a hotheaded, no-nonsense kind of man and as a result, has a horrible temper towards his younger officers who have trouble following orders. He mostly gets on Akagi Toyoshima the most, because Akatsu believes in male supremacy. This was especially the case when Akagi befriended Deaglan Hoppsbury, a young thief from Dupinland.
