you have to watch a show called the miraculous tales of ladybug and cat noir to understand this.... ill explain it: they are superheroes, black cat themed one likes ladybug themed one, setting is paris, butterflies are evil and make supervillains. ladybug catches the butterflies (akumas) and they turn into normal butterflies. theres like, 6 seasons, i watched it all, but just watch the origins or first 3 episodes.
