I've always wondered why a full version of SMB1 doesn't exist on Scratch, so I've started making an SMB engine that can store levels to a string, not costumes. Yes, it's difficult to make. Yes, I cried a few times. Yes, it's not done. YES, THE PHYSICS ARE AWFUL. But it's a start. Besides, this is a new engine so I'm still experimenting. The camera was conversationally changed to scroll upwards too. I did this to accommodate the bigger scale, which was enlarged for mobile screens. Please don't take these scripts. I am still working on this, I haven't given up on it.
