Copied and pasted from AutoEvolution The Porsche 911 Carrera RS, member of the 964 series, was exclusively addressed to the European market and was supposed to represent a super-lightweight vehicle with a rear-wheel drive system capable of producing more performance than the base model. Beside the obvious upgraded engine and numerous sports features, the Carrera RS came with power windows, air conditioning, cruise control and an optional stereo system as well as with advanced equipment which improved its performance such as the aluminum trunk hood, magnesium wheels and thinner glass, all of them meant to provide a lower weight.
