*Note: This is during Warriors: Darkest Night* Story: One day Alderheart goes out to look for herbs when suddenly Reedtail appears from a bush, he threatens to attack him when Gingerstar comes out to apologize for his actions. Alderheart brought them back to camp with him and Jayfeather is furious, then Bramblestar calls a meeting to see what to do with them, when the are begging for mercy Alderheart finally speaks up for them leaving everyone speechless. Squrrielflight, proud for her son decides to let them stay until their camp in the mountains is finished, Bramblestar grudgingly allows this. Alderheart meets Frostflake, Grayheart, and Sunblaze and has sudden visions of doing into greatness as Shineclan's now restored and the other clans have to deal with them being there. Sometime later Alderheart goes to talk to Sparkpelt and she screams at him "Why did you allow them to come here you traitor!" as Alderheart is shocked about her behavior as he says goodbye to Gingerstar as their camp is finished. At halfmoon Shellstar, an old Shineclan leader thanks Alderheart for his kindess and that he will always be remembered in her clan. While Thistlefur meets with Sparkpelt at the lake and convinces her to join him in killing Gingerstar and Reedtail, making him leader while in return he would kill Alderheart, and her parents for allowing them into their camp, making her the new leader of Thunderclan.
