His optimism seemed to burst forth, dancing in his eyes and showing clearly in the flick of his tail and the spring in his step as he made his way to the prey pile. He was about to take a thrush when he remembered guiltily that he was now an apprentice and couldn’t eat until he had served the clan. /oops/ he thought. /I hope no one noticed/. Then he reluctantly picked up the thrush and brought it to the elders. After dropping it at their paws he danced out of camp to practice hunting. (Lol I larb him <3)
