press space to see her outfit and full body. name: akira yamada gender: female age: 17 ethnicity: she is half japanese (her father's side) and half polish-american (her mother's side) family: mother, father, and her hobbies: her hobbies include people-watching, music (she can play the piano), and sketching. backstory: she grew up in a rough home life, her parents neglectful and hateful towards her. they never physically abused akira, but they didn't like her. when the apocalypse hit, akira left her family, hoping to never run into them again. she didn't have many friends due to her kind of "unstable" personality. she was normally a soft-spoken, intellectual girl who is average to slightly below-average grade-wise, but was very perceptive of people. she can read people like a book and is a manipulator (even when she doesn't mean to be). she didn't have friends because she saw them as people that were only going to let her down (like her parents), so she a loner for the most part. she has trouble trusting people, so people have trouble trusting her. personality: as previously stated, akira is a very soft-spoken, perceptive girl. she has a bad temper, though, and snaps when stressed, anxious, tired, or angry. she would be very loyal to someone that can prove to her that they are loyal to her as well. she is in introvert who is quiet and reserved. she does okay in the apocalypse due to her ability to not have many connections or much empathy towards people, making her a good solo survivor. she is very introspective of people is quite cynical about the world in it of itself. she is very calculated, unless her temper snaps, she is very cool and collected, manipulating things to go into her favor (she had to do that to her parents so that she could get things to survive for herself in her neglectful household). she is resourcful, but she is not book-smart, before the apocalypse hit, she was getting by with b- and c+'s. she is flawed, and she knows that, but doesn't see a reason in changing since she's surviving thus far. she is a manipulator, as previously stated, and will do anything for her own benefit (since she has no one else to benefit). she is obsessive with her goals, but is collected about it, she takes her time to get what she wants. she's not evil, or good, she's a gray-area character who will do what is best for her.
