Alex was running towards the train station, Bullet and Cherry at his side, He never wanted to go back home. He waited for the train, and then when it finally came him, Bullet, and Cherry leaped onto it, they were leaving their home state of Texas, maybe they would find a nice home in New York or Maine. Alex sat on some hay that was on the train, Bullet, and Cherry at his sides. ``Imma miss Texas,`` Bullet said, looking out at the world that was racing past them, his eyes full of a longing to be home in his warm bed. ``Me too,`` Cherry said, stretching, She looked at the world racing past as well. ``I'm gonna miss the open countryside of Texas, not the cities.`` Alex said, looking at the train ceiling. They sat in silence for a while, then a big sign past that read --Welcome to Olkahoma!-- By Then, it was nighttime, so Alex, Bullet, and Cherry went to sleep -- END OF CHAPTER 1 They woke up, they were in Arkansas by now, they has slept most of the day and night away, but they would get off here and find something else to sneak onto, maybe a truck or a car.
