- Crabtrot - Crabkit was born in Marshclan several moons after the legacy of Rowanstar and the Forest Prophecy. She was an energetic firecracker of a kit, and wanted nothing more than to be the best warrior in the clan. She grew up alongside several other kits in the nursery named Frostkit, Sagekit, and Featherkit. She was close friends with Featherkit. She hung out with the medicine cat, Lichenbranch, from time to time. Lichenbranch had an interest in her, and tried to get her interested in herbs by showing her how they worked. A running joke between them was that honey fixed everything, since it tasted so good. Frostkit, on the other paw, had a deep interest in herbs, and visited the medicine den every day. Crabkit was hoping that Lichenbranch would stop trying to convince her to be a medicine apprentice if she saw how good Frostkit was. One day, Crabkit snuck out of camp to try catching a frog. She stepped on a sharp stone, and a warrior found her and brought her back to camp. She was fascinated by the fact that a pile of leaves was able to make her paw feel better. She had a little more interest in herbs, but she still wished Lichenbranch would just let Frostkit be her apprentice. About a moon later, Sagekit convinced Flurrypaw to let her out of camp. There was an accident on the thunderpath, and both were injured badly. Crabkit was in the medicine den when they were brought in, and Flurrypaw died in front of her. Sagekit was permanently injured, as her paw had been broken very badly. Crabkit asked to be Lichenbranch's apprentice so that she would never have to stand by silently while another cat died. The next day, all four kits were made apprentices. Frostpaw was extremely upset that he wasn't made a medicine apprentice. Sagepaw felt useless as an apprentice. She tried several times to convince Lichenbranch to make her the medicine apprentice instead of Crabpaw. One day, she reopened her old wrist wound and sprained it badly. It was the first bad injury Crabpaw had to deal with, and Sagepaw purposely tried making her feel useless, hoping she would give up being a medicine apprentice. She and Crabpaw had a fierce rivalry, but Frospaw kept at a quiet, bitter distance. The rest of her apprenticeship went by normally, with a few attempts at sabotage from Sagepaw. All four cats were given their full names on the same night. Sagecall, Frostheart, Featherjump, and Crabtrot. Three days later, there was a devastating attack from Reedclan and Honeyclan, which ended in the death of Lichenbranch. Heartbroken, Crabtrot had to deal with the entire clan's injuries. She ended up enlisting the help of Frostheart to deal with all the hurt cats, and he was obviously much better at healing than fighting and hunting. After a rogue kit was found outside of camp with a severe wound on his leg, Crabtrot again asked Frostheart for help. After the kit joined the clan and was named Ashenkit, Crabtrot asked Frostheart to be her apprentice. He happily accepted. Furious, Sagecall left the clan out of frustration at being passed up twice. Frostheart was trained as a medicine cat, and was made a full medicine cat 6 moons before Crabtrot's death. Out of spite, Sagecall set up a trap by the thunderpath for her. Crabtrot fell into the trap, and was hit by a monster. She died from an infection in her wounds a few days later. Sagecall was hunted down by the clan and chased out. She was found dead a moon later covered in the stench of badger. Frostheart took up the position of medicine cat, later accepting Ashenkit into the position of medicine apprentice.
