☆ instructions space, arrow keys, click to view process for the art! ☆ about the art this was a piece i did for @live_yourlife's marvel art collab! it features gwen stacy, specifically the version from the spidergeddon comics (i own the first three and i love them so much!!) thanks for letting me participate @live_yourlife! ☆ process 1. sketch (sorry it's not more in-depth, i had this project idea after i finished the sketch) 2. lineart (sketch layer is at 30%-50% opacity) 3. lineart with sketch layer removed 4. clipping mask (i use this layer to make sure i color inside the lines) 5. base colors (i used an old thumbnail of gwen stacy i made for the colors because i liked them) 6. subtle shading (i also added lines to show the texture of the hair and suit, and the way the hair/fabric was flowing) 7. color lineart (this step helps your art look more painterly/soft if that's what you're going for!) 8. remove background 9. add background element + signature! (i put my signature in a place that'll be hard to get rid of it without people noticing, like near the face over some overlapping lines. take the L, art thieves!) ☆ credits all artwork here is MINE, do not use it without permission. DO NOT trace my art; if you do and try to pass it off as your own, i'll report you to the st.
