Backstory (Beca and Tonia): Tonia had a fling with Beca's father, not quite realizing who the father was until Beca was born. Tonia immediately left the kit, leaving her near (or as near as earthvixes will go) the Forbidden Swamp, where the father found her, naming the kit Beca. Years later, Tonia encountered Beca and Beca's father, immediately trying to kill them both. Beca's father kept her mother distracted long enough for Beca to get away, dying in the process. For years, Tonia searched for Beca before she died of unknown causes, and her ghost haunted Beca until she was driven to insanity and killed herself. Baza Backstory: He's been friends with Beca for as long as he can remember, to the point where a love interest started developing between the two. He was crushed when he found out that Beca killed herself, and blames himself for her death. Other: The stone he wore around his neck was a family heirloom with (he thought) the power to keep ghosts at bay. A few months ago, the stone became sentient and has disappeared. he thought it kept ghosts at bay...........but the stone had a different power..........
