I've been trying to draw from a reference more often, kind of challenging myself to do it on a regular basis, and this was the first drawing of that challenge. So here are some cinnamon rolls! Look at the smols! I love them! They will go through so much pain! :D (This is Navia and Rowan, I kind of mentioned them in my Be Like You part for context, also Bel Air. Still working through some of the designs.) stages: 1: reference photo. 2: sketch based off the reference photo (not traced! Don't trace your art! Just put grids over things and base your positions on the grid and shapes and yeah) 3. lineart 4. base colors (and a few textures) 5. shading 6. basic bg 7. added a lens blur to the bg and a couple more slight overall shading layers, and that's the final picture!
