His parents were always there to comfort him, and so were the few friends he had. Later, he decided to come out to his friends, and they all left him. Saddened by the loss of almost all the people he trusted, he went home and cried himself to sleep. His parents couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. The next day, he went back to school and his former friends beat him up.They kept doing the same things, and over and over he came back more bruised. His parents finally confronted him, and when he told them it was because he was gay, they were disgusted and kicked him out. Shade broke down, and he developed the crack on his eye. People started whispering even more about him at school, calling him a demon, possessed, and much worse things. Then someone tried to push him off the roof. He lost it, and his spirit broke free. He almost killed them, but his spirit calmed down. He realized what he had done, and ran into the forest. He lives alone there now, sometimes sneaking back into town to grab food or books, but he mostly self sustains. His parents had another child, and they don't care about shade anymore because they have a new child to take care of and couldn't care less about their "disgrace of a son."
