Click Play to begin. In the top-left corner is the button for starting the round. In the bottom-right is the menu where you can check your money, health, total number of boulders destroyed, and purchase towers. Double click a tower to sell it. Try running this project at your monitor's refresh rate at: https://turbowarp.org/382970663 Tap Advanced in the top left corner and check 60 FPS (Custom FPS). If you aren't using 60 Hz, then set a custom framerate. The game automatically adjusts to your framerate. Recommended buying method: When the round is over, spend as much as you can on the most expensive one you can afford, then move on to the next cheaper one. I do not recommend saving up for a tower you want. Spend as much money as you can! For example, the round just ended and I have 165 dollars. The most expensive one I can buy is the magic one. I buy as many of those as I can until I can't. I move on to the next cheapest one, which is the normal one. I buy as many of those as I can until I don't have enough money. This method makes me win every time. #tower #defense #games #boulder
Does Boulder Tower Defense Remastered seem too gloomy and boring, or does it lack some features you wish it had? Well here's another project enhanced by me. I might even start adding what people suggested. You can also just call it EBTDR. Enhancements: Colors are like the original. I never liked the dull colors and yellowy grass. You can double tap a tower to sell it. This was the only way I successfully implemented a sell feature into the remastered version. Towers only attack when there is an enemy. This will improve performance and slightly increase difficulty. @turkey3 said the game was quite easy anyways. Boulders have more dents/chips. The level 5 normal boulder is brown and no longer has the flame looking thing around it. The play button has a slight blue tint. Fixed clones not being deleted after losing. Game speed is no longer tied to framerate. Optimized play button "waving". It uses a sin function instead of unreliable velocity. Soundtracks by Steven Carter from the original and Christmas edition. Mud, steel, and obsidian iron boulder stages. Slower projectiles Water sprayers can slow down boulders and have a chance of damaging it. Water sprayer sprays. The purple things created by the raven move around randomly when there are no enemies. Slightly improved levels. Boulders shine a little bit. Overhauled buy/stats menu. There's way more space which makes it easier to add new towers while also being easier to read. The speaker shows in-game. Enhanced main menu picture. Thinner path to allow for more space. The level 4 boulder is green. Compressed some costumes by removing vector points you can't see. Added pellet tower. Added vaporizer tower. Fixed projectiles pointing too low. Penguins have smaller beaks. Next round button fades in. Changed the path to be more like the original. The level 1 boulder is smaller. Iron boulder is bigger. Original Notes and Credits: -Music by Michael Giacchino -The game utilizes a newly developed algorithm for collision detection for reduced lag when there are many towers on the screen. -If it lags in the later rounds, try not running in full screen. -The game is quite easy, to be honest. I may make it harder or release a tougher version! @turkey3 may use things from this remix to update the original project. #enhanced #improved
