COVID-19. Also known as the Corona virus. Everyone is saying that its not a big deal. It'll be over before next school year, no need to panic, just wash your hands! Right? But the news says otherwise.They say that the body count in New York keeps rising. More people are dying. More people are sick. We don't have enough ventilators, we don't have enough medical staff. Its terrifying. Even writing it here, it seems so simple, not scary at all. It'll be over in a few weeks, right? But I can't stop thinking. I'll miss my first day of high school. I'll miss out on the summer play I usually do. I'm so scared.
