If you don't do OCs then you can just put in a picture of an animal you like I guess If you think I stole this from someone else, artists have literally been doing this since the dawn of time. That's kinda how depictions of animals made it across the world before photography was a thing. AaaAAaaanyways, you don't have to draw a new ref of your character but you should provide both sides of a four legged animal as well as the face and a frontal shot of bipedal animals (anthros and humans, or furries if you prefer that to anthro). Make sure you hide the コードワード in the notes of your remix.
