Instructions

Welcome to the Coin Collecting Board Game! It's 100% luck based, but it might just be a bit of fun once in a while. You can play with a friend, or roll everyone's dice and hop P1/P2 wins. Pretend you're playing against a CPU. The aim of the game is to collect 500 coins by rolling a 100% luck based die. (Click or press Space to roll) The spaces do as follows: BLUE: Get 35 Coins. RED: Lose 20 Coins. GREEN: Give a certain amount of coins to the bank. The amount depends on the space. YELLOW: Collect all of the bank's coins! BRIGHT PURPLE: A special event plays that allows you to steal opponent's coins! DARK PURPLE: An event plays, and everyone loses coins. Bright Purple/Thieving Events: TAKING TWENTY: Steal 20 Coins from the Opponent! DASH 'N' GRAB: Run around the board and catch your opponent! The more you move, the more you steal! GRAB BAG: Bags fall from the sky, and if they touch your opponent, to steal coins! Dark Purple/Danger Events: LOSS CHASE: Be chased back to the start, Losing coins as you go! THIEVING BAG: An evil bag will move across the board, stealing coins from whoever it touches! FLAME BARRIER: A wall of flame will rotate, and your coins slowly get burned up by touching it! The Bank collects a small amount of Interest every turn, so landing on the Yellow Star space becomes a huge reward the further you get on! First to 500 wins!

Description

As the name implies, this is a remake of another project I made years ago. I found that project earlier (On the day of making this) and I found several flaws with it. Because it was decently old, (Not as old as most of my projects by a long shot, but still a while ago) I made this instead of updating it. Here is a list of stuff I changed: -The Bank's interest has been seriously toned down. This was to try and prevent the Bank having 500+ coins in it, an instant win if you collect it. -The bank now caps at 500. What's the point of it going higher? 500 is already an instant win. -The Bank spaces now have different amounts, instead of all having 10. This was because 10 just wasn't enough late-game, especially with the new reduced interest. -Space can now be used to roll the die. -The Thieving Bag now works properly. I can't believe I left it in the original, as glitched as it was. -Glitch where you could hold down the mouse and get the same number your opponent just rolled has been fixed. -Mechanics of the Thieving Bag have also been altered from what I wanted in the original. -Loss Chase has been fixed. I think it was bugged in the original, but not certain. It works now, anyway. -Loss Chase now takes coins away as you run, instead of at the end. -Loss Chase takes Double coins away. I felt like a Maximum of 30 wasn't high enough. -Increase the coins stolen in Grab Bag. The bags rarely hit an opponent, and a bigger reward fixes that. -You can now visually see coins coming out of the bank. -Altered the look of the Event Spaces. -Added a thumbnail. (By the Way, If anybody knows what music I used, please let me know. I used to use it a lot for my projects and never bothered to find out where it's from.) All Sprites and Coding by me, apart from the Trees in the background. I Can't remember who made those. It was a while ago. Yes, I tend to dislike making luck-based games, but I made an exception for this. I'm surprisingly proud of it.
