Hi guys! I’ve been wanting to make a map for some time now, and here it is! I originally was going to do a Hold On scripted MAP featuring Swanpaw, but I thought, hey - I may not get as many participants if they have a script and have to use an unfamiliar character that is not their own. So, here, we have a 48 hour palette MAP! I was going to make it 24 hours, but the parts are a bit lengthy, so I gave an extra day. Plus, you can always ask for an extension. So, what is a 48 hour MAP anyways? A 48 hour MAP is when you only get 48 hours (or, 2 days) to complete a part (if you have multiple parts, it would be 48 x the number of parts). This also applies to thumbnail entries. You may ask for extensions (another 2 days), but you must ask before the time is up. If not, then it will be considered late. If someone else has asked for the part, or if there is a backup for that part, then you will be removed from the MAP. No, it’s not to be mean or unfair, it’s because I would like this to be done relatively soon. If there is no one else who wants the part, or there is no backup, you will just get a warning/reminder. And don’t forget that this is a palette MAP. What exactly is that? A palette MAP is when you can only use certain colors for your part. In this case, you may only use black, white, and red. You can use characters that don’t have this palette, but in your part, they should be modified so that the character’s colors now match the palette. One more thing... No shading. You heard me. It’s kind of like a lineart map, but you can also use red. Use my art as an example. Onto the rules! - Anyone can join the thumbnail contest, no art/animation skill is required. But, if your entering for a part, that’s not the case. You must have some experience. Link an animation in the desc. If you want a part. If I don’t give you the part, then I don’t hate you, I just don’t think you’re a good fit for this MAP. You can try for the thumbnail, if you want. Tbh, I may not even make a part because I’m not very good at animation. - Duh, no unfriendly comments. Suggestions, compliments, and constructive criticism are the only comments allowed. - If you want to be a cohost, then you must have hosted a MAP before (link it to me). This is because the cohost must put the final product together. You also must have entered either the thumbnail contest or for a part. However, even if you are otherwise a good fit, if I don’t know you very well, I may not give you the job. - PMV or AMV is fine, but keep it relatively simple. Also, please don’t go over 3 sprites. - Blood/gore is allowed, just don’t make it excessive. - You may have no more than 3 parts (thumbnail not included).
