It’s obvious to everyone on the internet that Marvel’s new superheroes, the New Warriors, need a tad bit of a makeover. So, I took it upon myself to do just that! Not only did their designs need some re-working, but their backstories did, too. (looking at you, ‘internet gas’.) I put more effort into this than Daniel Kibblesmith lol Trailblazer- She was a poor Polynesian girl, barely making ends meet, until a god (or gods) graced her with superhuman abilities. Using her newfound abilities of conjuring items at will, she scraped her family out of poverty, and was a trailblazer for others in her community. (le feminist icon has arrived) When she moved to the U.S, she met the New Warriors (the old ones), and began her superheroing career! (The reason I made her skinnier is because it didn’t fit her backstory. Her backpack strap is now a strap for either a quiver or a holder for a sword.) She’s an optimistic go-getter with a business mindset. B-Negative- He found out he was the son of Michael Morbius after his single mother was forced to share why he had such strange attributes such as blood-red eyes, hypnosis, and superhuman strength. Learning about all of his horrible atrocities on both the guilty and innocent, he dedicated his life to putting a stop to criminals like his father. (I switched his colors around a bit so he had a little more variety. I won’t get offended if you like the original better. :P) He may be a goth, but he’s determined to clean up the streets. Screentime- He’s a kid super-genius that creates complex machines. When testing one of his inventions, however, an accident occurred; he fused with the technology, causing him to be one with the internet. On the team, he doesn’t do much fighting himself, but he’s the leader who makes all the plans and tech for his friends to use. Despite seeing the worst humanity has to offer, he still looks to humanity’s good points. I renamed Sn... The Problem Twins because their names sucked. Crystallize and Materialize are twins born in an inner city. Despite both their deepest wishes to fit in, the pair stood out with their powers and uniquely positive personalities. With Crystallize being non-binary, and Materialize being openly gay, the pair were (and still are) teased and mocked. Regardless of their past, they held their heads high and became vigilantes to administer justice to the powerless. Both are headstrong and have strong moral compasses, but the psychics do have some differences. Material is a confident airhead who sometimes worries a little too much about his friends. Crystal, on the other hand, seems cold, but they’re just strategic in administering compassion. They have walls around their heart. They both have a very good familial relationship with each other. Thanks on getting through that giant wall of text! <3 I hope you like my ideas.
