(you can always change her name @zigzaq) opal is a 17 yo, afro-latina (african-american latina) << it explains a bit about her personality here hobbies: cooking, painting, karate, and styling hair ✓ -fruit trees -mushrooms -earrings -sunburns -people who care ✗ -dad jokes -know-it-alls -dish soap -casserole looks: apart from what you can see, the dot on her chin is a scab to make her seem more apocalyptic along with the band-aid and she has LOTS of freckles lol. her hair is either in dreds or really curly. backstory (ish): opal grew up in the heart of brooklyn, a wonderful city yet finance wasn't quite nice to her family. they had a very small house living with multiple tenants. despite the over-crowdedness and lack of money, the tenants grew a close sort of family. opal lived with her loving yet strict/controlling mother, her father had left when she was born because he felt he wasn't prepared to be a father or have another person to care for. opal understood her mother's strictness seeing she had to raise her all on her own. luckily, the tenants would always offer a helping hand, even if opal's mother was extremely independent and denied their offers. opal got a job at 14, looking after and tending to the buildings amenities. with the extra money she earned, she was able to pay to go to high school, and had a dream of going to college with enough work. then, the apocalypse happened, and it was a dog-eat-dog world. those who could, hid. finally, opal emerged from the dust and smoke, not knowing where all she held dear were, if they were anywhere. now, she tries her best to be strong and independent like her mother but still trying to find comfort in those who aren't afraid of the outside world anymore. opal's theme song: little league- conan gray (i thought it sort of reflects how it seems her childhood and the people in it seemed to faded away after the apocalypse) so yeah i think that's all i have to say! hope you like it! ✐bye!✐
