Instructions

Press AD or arrow keys to move. Press W or the up key to jump. Click to attack in the direction you are facing. Press down to direct your attack downwards. Press space to dash. Pressing space while attacking does extra damage. Your goal is simple, defeat Mammon, and don't die. Mammon's Attacks: .Triple slash: Mammon's basic attacked where he pops up near you, and then does three melee attacks in quick succession, each on bringing him slightly forward. This attack is sped up in phase 2. Phase 1: .Beam: Mammon summons a beam, that lingers facing towards the player, then stops, shortly becoming fully charged and doing damage. .Charge: Mammon crouches down and dashes across the entire screen. Phase 2: .Falling Crystals: Many crystals fall from the ceiling from right to left, one after the other. .Money Pillars: Piles of gold start rumbling in random locations, then shortly pop up into huge pillars which do damage. .Golden Bats: Mammon summons bats which fly slowly towards the player to do damage, but they can be killed.

Description

To celebrate seven years on Scratch, I have made this game. It is a remake of one of my first games, Mammon's Hoard. I remade not only because there was lots of room to improve, but because Mammon's Hoard is very important to me. I got the idea to make a Mammon boss fight, which got me wanting to make a new Scratch account. I eventually made this account, notproper, where I would share Mammon's Hoard. Mammon's Hoard brought the beginning of notproper, and now Mammon's Hoard Repolished brings the end of my activity. The Boss Music was made by @KesoloTheBard He posts music on https://soundcloud.com/goldenmammon Other music is Sthlm Sunset (Keralis’ timelapse music) And the Crystal Peak theme from Hollow Knight. Fun Facts: .This boss fight has many elements inspired by Hollow Knight, such as the player's dash and attack control, and some of Mammon's attacks. His triple slash is based on The Hollow Knight's main attack. His beam is based on the Crystal/Enraged Guardian's attack. The charge is based on one of the Mantis Lords' attacks. The Crystals are based on Nosk's attack where blobs fall from the ceiling. The pillar attack is based on The Hollow Knight's flame pillars, and the bats are based on Broken Vessel's infection balloons.
