Luxury waited with fear at the meeting place as the moon reached midnight. His nerves were shot, very fearful of a ReaperClan surprise attack as he waited impatiently for his rival to arrive. Suddenly, Luxury heard a rustling noise coming from some shrubs near the beach of the lake. The wood on the rickety bridge creaked as Luxury stepped back from it, across the lake. He was nearly mid-bridge when a tall tomcat skulked out of the bushes. The Marauder had arrived. "You'd better not pull any tricks," the Marauder warned. "Trust me," Luxury replied. "I'd have known better from last time." "Alright, then. What have I came here for?" the Marauder said back uncertainly. "No doubt you've heard of the coalition beginning in the mountains." "I have," the Marauder said cautiously. "They plan to attack my cats first," Luxury went on. "I need your assistance to keep them away." "Fat chance," the Marauder scoffed. "I'd never help out an ugly old red such as yourself after what happened in the battle at Samuel's Garden." Luxury growled, but then took a few deep breaths and calmed down. "For your information," Luxury sneered. "This coalition isn't just here for me and Bloodmoon. ReaperClan is out to get the Band of Rogues as well, along with about every clan on this earth." The Marauder, taking this into account, thought to himself. He didn't want to trust Luxury, for he knew what had happened in the Battle of Samuel's Garden. However, knowing that Luxury might be telling the truth about ReaperClan's intentions, he made his decision. "Fine, I'll do it," the Marauder sighed. "Move your cats in with mine, and we can set up a defense." "Thank you," Luxury purred, relieved. "But, remember," The Marauder said sternly.
