I don't know for sure, but it seems like with Faline(the ancient wielder of the Sapphire)'s current design, it's kind of hard to tell that she's part Amaura...? (And a shiny one, at that) I was just sort of feeling like her design was lacking something... Then Gen 8 came along and introduced us to Frosmoth, a lovely ice moth Pokemon, and I saw an opportunity. Faline's already part ice-type in the first place, and Frosmoth shares a few design similarities with Amaura, too. So, I experimented and after a bit of trial-and-error came up with this design that I personally quite like. (Couldn't quite get rid of the peach/yellow gradient of the previous design though, as I got too attached to it) What do you think? Is this an improvement? Or do you happen to prefer the old design? I'm open to ideas!
