Instructions

The Random Walk Problem is simply "If I walk randomly how long will it take to get where I'm going?" The Cat walks randomly around in steps of 18 or 24 steps* and records the amount of steps it has taken once it hits the wall. They are two different modes to the project. One where the cat can randomly chose one of the four cardinal directions. (Default) And one where the cat can only go left or right. Press "a" for a slider variable to change the modes. Mode one is the four cardinal directions. Mode two is only left or right. The steps are chosen to make the stage a square, so starting from the middle it will take the same number of steps to go to any of the 4 sides.

Description

If you want to hide all the data press "h". To make it re-appear press "h" again. To temporarily hide or show the data hold down the space bar. I'd be interested to see if we can come up with a solid average for both mode since the scratch player is rectangular you have to travel different distances to get to each side. The project is also Turbo-Mode Friendly. :)
