Instructions

This is an experiment in vector art generation and export (SVG). Thus, it might not be the best animation creation project. But I hope you enjoy. Instruction: - Using this project you can create an animation with up to 10 keyframes (numbered icons at the top). - Click the next Keyframe icon to add a Keyframe. - To edit a keyframe, drag the dots on the AniMan. - Click rotate icons to rotate AniMan (you'll figure it out). - Click the Reset icon to reset the current keyframe. - Click the Remove icon to delete the current keyframe (only available when the last Keyframe is selected). - Click the Frames icon to change the default (5) number of frames between Keyframes. - Click the Play icon to test your animation. - Click the Rainbow to edit limb colors (click the limbs and move the RGB sliders). - Click the Save icon to export your animation (does not work on mobile devices). In the Save animation view: - Does not work on mobile devices. - Click the "See inside" to go to project design mode (to be able to export lists). - Right click the SVG list and choose "Export". This will save the list as a .TXT file on your computer. - Click the Next button and repeat the previous step until all frames have been exported (as indicated in the top right corner). Instructions for using AniMan SVG costumes in your project: 1. Follow instructions above to create and save animation frames. 2. Change the file extension of the exported files from *.txt to *.svg 3. Create a sprite in your project. 4. In the costumes view, hover over the “Add costume” button, and choose “Upload”. 5. In the file picker dialog window, select all the exported SVG costumes, and click Ok. All art and code by me (@kriblo).

Description

All art and code by me (@kriblo). Inside, there's a demo sprite containing exported costumes, to give you an idea what it will look like. Any feedback on function or code is greatly appreciated.
