Everything needed a rational explanation. One day, they were kidnapped and experimented on. They could see ghosts and became semi-immortal. They became a guide to the underworld. They guide souls from this world to the next, but the ghost world is a scary place, and now that ghosts can touch them and not just mess with them, the world is a lot scarier. they have, however, found that the angels can provide them with something. Red petals that make them stronger, able to protect themselves against ghosts.
