So, I want to share his backstory because why not Originally his name was Lucas, but once he was about 5, everyone noticed how he was different. You see, he was a hybrid of all four wolf packs AND a cat, and they DONT get along, no one knows how this happened. After much Heartbreak, he was gifted the staff of broken hearts, able to see through one's happiest and most twisted thoughts, and was told he would be the GateKeeper of the gate to the palace of hearts, those who had none would not be able to go. he went about his normal life in the pack, but now when someone came up to the gate, he would teleport there to see if they had a good heart, as he was infinitely happier, as he could still talk to good people now, as he could even visit the palace too! But when he sees twisted thoughts, sad ones, or is feeling a strong emotion, his staff burns a mysterious power unknown to any mortal being other than him... one morning the pack leader came, and he instantly had his decision he had none, it was clear from the moment he stepped in. edit: just looked back at the backstory and man.. nice one old me
