**AAHH I literally had this project done three days ago but forgot to share it. Does it count if it's like, just turned 12 am in my timezone?** I loved all the designs from this dta! They're amazing! :D it's also super cool, spreading awareness about endangered animals at the same time! Man, I'm gonna be nerdin' out with all the stuff I learned about Galapagos Tortoises and Dusky Mice for weeks! ♡Sʜᴏʀᴛ sᴛᴏʀʏ thingy♡ This here is a lil' scene about a couple of animals that probably shouldn't ever have met, but somehow did, and became friends. Meet Goas (Goes) the Tortoise and Durnee the Dusky mouse. "Can't say I ever seen an' Emydura of your type 'fore." The mouse looked him over. "An.. Emy-what-now?" Goas tilted his head. He had to admit all the poking and prodding from the little rodent was at the same time irritating, and flattering. Never had he been so famous back on his arid little corner of the island. "Eh.. an what's this here?" Durnee had managed to scramble up onto his shell. He made fist in his paw and knocked on the hard top plate. "My shell. What else?" "Well'n I seen shells before, but man, this'n almost looks like a.. a.." "A saddle?" "Yeah! How'd ya' know what I was thinkin'?" Durnee hopped with a little grin. This could be something real special, for sure. The tortoise just shrugged. "That's kinda just what everyone's always said." (Ayh.. rest of this cut off somehow)

Description

(Like miniature kangaroos!) That according which part of their environment they live in, Galapagos Tortoises have either long or short necks, box or flat shells? That Galapagos Tortoises with flat shells and long neck are called "saddleback tortoises"?
