Scratch 3 has some really great sprites with lots of costumes. But did you Know that even if a sprite only has 1 costume, you can still animate it. This project will show you how to animate the frogs tongue to come out whenever the sprite is touched. It will also show you how to animate his/her eyes, so that they track the mouse pointer. Why don't you see if you can remix this program to make the eyes follow a new fly sprite that you make.
This is a remake of a Ready Steady Code program by Seamus O'Neill. The original programs were called "Animate the frog's tongue / Make the frogs eyes follow the pointer.". I made this version just to update to Scratch 3 and to add some goto blocks to the eye sprites and a goto back layer block to the frog sprite. I also felt it worked better as one project instead of being split into two. Seamus is a good friend of mine and a great scratch coder.
