You view monitors from Sonic game(s). Simple. You may break them with X and fix them with Z. Everything else is detailed in the project. There are also buttons to let you use the project on mobile devices. Layout project to share: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/395685499/ Make sure you make both a remix of this main project for demonstration, and a remix of the Layout project with a link to the main remix, to share with others.
WARNING The Monitor flickers between sprites at a very quick pace. This may cause photosensitive seizures in some people. This is unlikely to cause many issues, but if you suffer from seizures like this, it's best not to run this project. If you're interested in making an Entry, skip down to Extra Info. Changelog: v2.1.7: - Finally added Mobile Controls! - To toggle the buttons, tap or click the Keys/Touch button at the top. Currently, only Z, X and Space buttons exist. - Pressing any key will automatically switch the toggle to the "Keys" setting. - Chemical Plant Zone is now available! All monitors have an offset of -48 x and -100 y in this Zone. v2.1.6b: - Replaced Ice Cap Zone's music so I don't have to pay millions. - This is purely satire, and the original track is still in the project. The change is a joke based on Sonic Origins using remasters of the S3 Prototype/S&K Collection music. - On a more serious note, the music finally loops properly, and the music fades in when the project starts running. v2.1.6: - Added content for the S3K monitor. The name for it is in the Monitor List (L) if you want to spoil it for yourself. - Revised Spring Yard. More specifically, the sky is no longer jagged and the ground is more unique; the light even flashes! - There is now a (sloppily placed) thumbnail. - Fixed a long standing bug where the Zone icon buttons overlapped the Monitor Skin icon buttons. This has been fixed by ensuring only one set of icon buttons are visible at any one time. - The icon buttons now display what they are when you hover over them. v2.1.5: - Added a new "Contest" monitor to house content-only entries. - Added "Tobias" as a 1Up content for the Contest monitor. (Tobias takes Tails' slot in the 1Up roulette for the Contest skin only.) Tobias is owned by @FinalHopeTrio. v2.1.4: - Edited Help Dot's text - Some behind the scenes shenanigans <_< v2.1.3: - Great, another blunder with the G3 monitor: Robotnik frame sprites weren't updated. Fixed! v2.1.2: - Finished and added Ice Cap Zone! All monitors are shifted by -40 x in this Zone. - Added a music system into the game. This way, your zones can have a better atmosphere... Or you can just bake memes in, idk v2.1.1: - Hotfix for some of the G3's contents. - "Monitor Skin Guide" replaced with "Monitor List". Does not include Template skin. - Random option now available! Simply press Space and type "Random". (without "") v2.1: - Added two new monitors: @s15046's Oven and @SoniKast's iMac G3 Monitor! PS: The G3 Monitor has a LOT of randomized content. v2: - Added a proper background and floor! You'll be able to switch between them next update. - Moved the monitors slightly down. - Extra Info - This project is modular! (If you haven't seen the title) You may add custom monitor skins and contents. For example, you may change the background, make Question Mark Blocks, or feature your snazzy new item. There is a competition underway: (and has been for a long while) put your remix in the Entry Studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/25882399/ and the skin or content may get added to the main project! PS: As of v2.1, there are now multiple monitors, disregarding the base S3K monitor and the Template. These monitors were added as part of the contest, and are not to be edited. For consistency, when you make a remix please remove these monitors and their icons, but do not remove either "Pop" sprites as the Template one is to be edited and the S3K one is the default. For the monitors and icons, that will cull them from the entire remix so you can work on your own monitor uninterrupted and uncluttered. Also, you're free to add your own extra code on top of your monitor skin. (eg: The G3 monitor has multiple Static and Broken sets, for each colour) ----Special thanks---- SEGA - Making the S3K Monitor sprites, as well as the official zone backgrounds/tilesets The Observer and TSR - Ripping the sprites and making them accessible RainbowTH - Making this base project s15046 (Also known as DRKSAO) - Oven monitor SoniKast, Dolphman and Techokami, all three on TSR - iMac G3 Monitor and it's contents.
