My final revision of the test I made at lunch today. I made the game a little easier and added missiles with AoE effect. This is a very simple construct I'd expect most beginers to grasp quickly and put into motion in their own projects. I tried to put most key and mouse events inside the Stage and then use sprite events to control what happens with the sprites. The only thing I wish I could do is spawn new instances of sprites, but this is only a learning tool so I suspect that is too complicated to be included. In any case, I really love this tool. It is a great way to introduce people to basic concepts. I hope to use it in my classes. Controls: Mouse Move, Space for Missles, click to shoot and detonate missiles.
