Instructions

Go to full screen and click the green flag to start. I would advice you to then click 'Instructions', but you can also just click 'Play'. In short, click the tiles on the board to move the player piece (red dot) to get to the item shown on the card (top right on screen). Click the loose tile (lower right on screen) to rotate it, then click one of the arrows to insert it into the Labyrinth. When you insert the loose tile, the Labyrinth will change, and another tile will come loose. A turn is each time you insert a loose tile. Try to collect all the 24 items in as few turns as possible. If you finish the game, the number of turns used will be stored in the cloud variable Finished. The record is stored in the cloud variable Record.

Description

Concept and art: Ravensburger (based on the board game Labyrinth published by Ravensburger in 1986, but with modified single player rules) Code is by me (@kriblo), except for @-Rex-'s Pen Text Engine (PTE Lite+): https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/276672672/ Thank you very much @colinmacc for scanning all the tiles / cards of the original game. Thank you @RokCoder for suggesting I abandon the tedious work of creating my own graphics for this game, and just scan the original. This worked out much better I think! Although it eventually meant converting the project from stamping to using clones. I'm sharing this single player version now, and hope to be able to share a multiplayer version later on. I have an idea on how this could be implemented, but comment if you have suggestions. Record 13 Feb 2020, 9 turns by @gregatku, with honors for dedication! Check out his documentation on beating the record: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/367940840/ Record 10 Feb 2020, 11 turns by @colinmacc (by his own admission he was "really lucky with the board layout"). #games #description(Labyrinth is based on the board game Labyrinth published by Ravensburger in 1986, but with modified single player rules.)
