The bulletproof, fabled engine of the Spirit Ryuju is nothing short of a legend. Everybody knows how it goes - you put your foot down, there's a second of apprehension where the turbos build up more pressure than the bottom of the Mariana Trench, then you shoot off at speeds that'll send you straight into orbit if you don't have a wing the size of a small country. But what if you want to bring your kids (or anime figurine collection) with you on your journey out of the observable universe? Enter the Koyasu, which combines the inimical power of the Ryuju with space to bring your friends (or the aforementioned figure collection.) It's the ultimate do-anything car - drop off the kids at 8, be on the other side of the country by 8:15. Just one thing - although it is all-wheel-drive, don't think you can do any rock crawling with it unless you lift it four feet in the air. If you do do that, send me pictures.
