Spottedfern had lifted her nose from the Moonpool with tears threatening her eyes. The scene replayed itself, over and over. She had woken up in a beautiful grassy clearing with overhanging branches crisscrossing the sky and leaving faint shadows over the ground, blossoms from the leaves dappling the ground and drifting through the air. A sweet scent had blown into her nostrils and a beautiful cat who Spottedfern hadn't seen in moons stepped out of the shadows. The rest of it passed in a blur, and soon she was awake, shaking her head in shock and with tears of memory blurring her vision. She missed Dapplesun too much.
