Horned Beasty is tangled/choked on the red balloon (balloon could represent anything, emotions of late, memories, past/current actions, etc) until somethin' (friend or fed up-ness) slashes the cord/string (which is holding red balloon). This, of course, is like ripping a scab off a wound (lets everything out), after dealing with the "everything" Horned Beasty confronts red balloon, then they run off free. :OOO
