When the topaz was broken, a new character named Topaz appeared. He was scared about the incident. More about the incident below. About the Broken Topaz Incident: While Sly Cooper (the Sly Cooper robot, since the original was turned into a sheep) was fighting guards, a goose with loot appeared, so the Sly Cooper robot accidentally swung his cane, and the bear broke the topaz. Topaz appeared, and realized the broken topaz was his, so he has to fix the topaz by gathering the 6 pieces taken by an organization of 7 bears. The leader broke the topaz while the other 6 took its pieces.
