Instructions

Please don't assume that just because someone doesn't support gay marriage or just being LGBT+ in general means that they're homophobic. They might not support it because they're religious. All jokes aside, about Cicieregism being my religion, I'm a Christian, and while I don't necessarily have an opinion on gay marriage/LGBT+, our religious text, the Bible, says some things about homosexuality that most people probably wouldn't agree with, but most Christians aren't supportive of LGBT+. It doesn't mean they hate you, or hate who you are, it just means that they don't agree with your sexuality, because it's against their religion. If you're upset, I get it. Call me a homophobe all you want. I don't care. I'm not a homophobe. I don't have an opinion on the subject. I'm just trying to say that if someone doesn't support LGBT+, maybe consider the idea that they might be religious, rather than homophobic. If you're assuming that they're homophobic, and they've told you that they're religious, that's hypocritical. You're upset with them for not supporting LGBT+ because they're religious. In a way, you're just being anti-semitic. Thank you for your time. -MK
