Free at last, Free at last, Great God a-mighty we are free at last.
Today we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. and what he did for our country and our people. Who knows where we would be if he hadn't stepped up to his calling from the Lord. His work changed our country drastically and paved a prosperous future for the colored people of America. He paved the way for acceptance, no matter what you looked like. When we allow freedom to ring-when we let it ring from every city and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all (If God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Free at last, Free at last, Great God a-mighty, "We are free at last."- MLK Jr. I Have A Dream Speech 1963
