Instructions

/\ ignore that remix thing. I started making this on my other account, then decided to move it. This is a simple encoder and decoder. The decoding code is something that you make up if you are encoding and need to decode. It can be literally anything and length does not matter. BUT! The shorter it is, and the less unique letters it is, the easier it will be to find what your code decodes to just from a glance! The separator is something needed in encoding. It is also needed in decoding, but it is very easy to find. If Scratchy asks the same question twice in a row, that means that he did not understand you. You cannot have any numbers in your code. If you do, it will skip over them. (i.e. you want to code scratch4ever. You will get something like: #-#-#-#-#-#-#--#-#-#-#-. See the '--'? That is where it skipped the '4'.) This project has code that will make the project LOOK like it is on, but really be off.

Description

Current Notices NOTICE 5, 1/6/2020: Capitalization currently DOES matter in the Decoding Code, but only while decoding. TED-2000 will fix that. For now, just keep the Decoding Code all lowercase if you want to decode. If you don't, the output will have random capitals. NOTICE 6, 1/6/2020: Say you encode something with capitals. Then you decode it. It will all be in lowercase. There is currently no capitalization support. That will be added in TED-2000. For now, your output will just be all lowercase. NOTICE 7, 1-10-2019: You cannot have any numbers in your code. If you do, it will skip over them. (i.e. you want to code scratch4ever. You will get something like: #-#-#-#-#-#-#--#-#-#-#-. See the '--'? That is where it skipped the '4'.) I will add number capability soon. What other capabilities do you want? Tell me in the comments below!///Current: a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l, m, n, o, p, q, r, s, t, u, v, w, x, y, z///Additional in Future: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z, ., -, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, /, \, :, ¬, and `. NOTICE 10, 2-20-2020: You must use full screen for now. Resolved Notices NOTICE 2, 1/5/2020: The separator MUST be a '-', or else it won't encode properly. If whatever you want to encode has a '-' in it, sorry, but you can't encode it...yet. Unless you take out all of the '-'s. UPDATE, 1/5/2020: My test was faulty; you can use any separator that meets all of the following criteria: 1) It must be created using Unicode. 2) It cannot be in whatever you want to encode. 3) It must be a single digit. 4) It cannot be a number. Letters will also work as long as they are not in whatever you want to encode. NOTICE 1, 1/5/2020: Encoding works, but decoding is still a little buggy. Just a little. Or maybe a lot? UPDATE, 1/6/2020: I fixed it!!!!! NOTICE 3, 1/5/2020: Currently, if you change the separator, the change doesn't take effect until the next encoding session. I am investigating the issue. UPDATE, 1/6/2020: I don't know what I did, but it is fixed. NOTICE 4, 1/5/2020: There is an issue with the list showing up ON TOP of the thumbnail...the issue has been investigated and a fix is being made. NOTICE 8, 2/20/2020: I added my intro and removed the cat. I added a 'Loading'. Credits Thanks @Nambaseking01 and @Sqperdoo from the Scratch Ultimate Coding Store (SUCS) for scripts! Thanks @congyingzhou of Team Intelligent Projects Shop (T.I.P.S.) for the name and thumbnail! Thanks @Big_Brick_Studios for some feedback! Thanks @hedghog_blue for a script from the forum thread thumbnail on top of list! Thank you for playing! Thank you for scrolling all the way down...here's a reward! There is code on the thumbnail...and it is actual decodable code! The decoding code is also on the thumbnail too...but where is it? Hint: the last two words are 'one' and 'thousand'. Or is this all the way down? Read More
