He's Ashley's shiny Zorua. Like any Zorua, He LOVES playing tricks on different pokemon and trainers alike. Short story below.
*SHORT STORY* Ashley was looking around the forest floor, Lucario walking beside. Liam hits his head on a low branch for a fifth time. He pushes it away and growls. "Ash, what're we doing out here anyway?" She looks over at him. "You seriously forgot already?" "I forgot after the third branch hit me!" She chuckles a little. "We're tracking down the pokemon that's been stealing food from the market. Some of them are saying it's a Treeko. Others are saying either a Zigzzagoon, Lotad, and a Gulpin stole them." "So, what're you--" He hits another branch. "Ow!" "I think they're all working together." He rubs his head. "Makes sense. A Treeko is really good at climbing trees. Zigzaggons are fast. Lotads are slow, and...wait a Gulpin?" "Pretty--" Lucario stops her. Ashley looks over. "What is it?" Liam peeks into the brush. "Uh...Ash. You might wanna see this." She peeks over his shoulder. Standing in the center of a field was a shiny Lotad. It moves to the side to reveal a pile of berries. Liam's eyes widen. "They didn't say it had odd coloring, did they?" "No. They didn't." "Weird." The Lotad changes into a small, brown fox with blue highlights. Ashley and Lucario both jump. "What is that?!" Liam shouts. "Li!" The fox looks over, eyes dark red, and laughs a little. They both stand up. "That's pretty weird..." It changes it's shape to make it look like Liam with white hair. He jumps back. "What the--whahh!" He falls backwards. Ashley sighs. "Let's catch it, Lucario!" she says, sounding determined. He nods and hops in front of her. The fox changes back and launches a Shadow ball at them. "Dodge it!" Lucario moves him and Ashley out of the way. "Alright. Our turn." She punches the air. "Power-up Punch!" He moves towards the fox. It jumps up and swipes it's tail. Stars emerged out of it. "That's Swift!" Liam exclaims. "Lucario, block it!" He crosses his arms over his head and takes it head on. The fox drops down and laughs a little. "Why do I have the feeling this isn't a fair fight?" he asks. "Maybe cause we're dealing with a pokemon we've never seen?!" He pulls out a Pokeball. "Need help then?" "Yes, please." "Alrighty!" He throws the pokeball in the air. "Arcanine, let's fire it up!" A orange and black striped hound emerged. Ashley sighs. "You seriously need to come up with better lines." "What?! That was--" The fox uses Swift again. "Dodge, Lucario!" "You too, Arcanine!" They both move out of the way. "Lucario, use High jump kick!" As soon as he could kick, it moves. Lucario fell backwards. "Sheesh! This thing's fast!" "Tell me about it. What now?" "Hmm...I've got it. Arcanine, use Flamethrower!" "What?! Lucario could get caught in it. Lucario, use Aura Sphere!" Both use their attacks at the same time. The attacks merged into one and struck the fox down. Ashley threw an empty pokeball at it while Liam stood there stunned. 1...2...3...click! Fox pokemon captured! "Yes!" She rushes over and picks up the ball. "What was that though?!" "What was what?" He throws his hands down. "Did you not see that?! Arcanine and Lucario's moves merged into one super, powerful move!" "Oh. Yeah I guess that's cool." "You guess?!" "Let's just focus on getting this to mom and dad. Maybe they know what pokemon I caught." "Fine." *** "Come on out, little guy!" The fox pops out of the pokeball and hops into Ashley's arms. "Aw!" Professor Rivers laughs a little. "My goodness!" Helen says. "Where did you find that?!" "In a field outside of the forest." Liam crosses his arms. "What is it though? It's not anything Ashy and I have ever seen." "It's a Zorua." "Zorua?" they both ask. He drops his clipboard. "It's a dark type pokemon that can change their shape into any pokemon." "It changed it shape to look like Liam though." "It can do that to people as well." Helen says. Professor Rivers taps his chin. "It's strange though. They're suppose to be greyish black with red highlights and blue eyes. Not the other way around." She ruffles Zorua's fur. "I kinda like it. It makes him special." "Well, you caught it. Did you wanna keep them?" "Yeah! I've got the perfect name for him too." Liam raises an eyebrow. "You're gonna name it?" "Yeah. Blue." "Why Blue?" "Cause of his highlights." He sighs. "Figures." She smiles at Blue. "Welcome to the team, Blue!" *END OF SHORT STORY*
