This is called Soul Power. This is the Mirlif item. It's the base of every Mirlif. When they are beaten, a piece of their soul, AKA, Soul Power is emitted. Once emitted, it will go to the person who beat the certain Mirlif, and it can be used as an item. They can also emit it willingly, to create items. This is a rare item though, since the soul of the Mirlif will usually break when the Mirlif is defeated, and usually, Mirlifs don't share their Soul Power. They will trade the soul power though, since they wish to grow more powerful at any opportunity.
