Click green flag. Blue bumps move down and play notes on a music box. The bumps play the Let it Go (beginning of the chorus). Each bump plays one note when it strikes one of the white squares. By moving any bump further to the right, you can make it play a higher note. To put more time before hearing any note, move it further up.
The program starts by making a music box, with one "prong" (on a music box "comb") for each note. To do this we start with a Sprite that makes a note when touched and make a clone for each prong. Each prong plays one unique note, with lower notes on the left. We play the tune Let it Go, but you can move the bumps to make any tune. While this is a crude way to make music, it illustrates how a music box uses a simple analog code. See our other music programs, for example piano, xylophone, chords, and Jupiter from "The Planets" by Holst. This project is part of our subscription box, which comes with a real music box playing Let it Go, and snow crystal themed fractal art.
