Can't see me doing any more on this before 2020 so here's a sneak peek at a work-in-progress. Arrow keys to play and nothing much to do at present. Constant 30fps here but let me know how it plays for you. Might be a racing game. Might be a driving game with missions. I really don't know where I'm going with this yet! :D
